The William R Smith Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning we are officially recognized to hold non-profit status by the Internal Revenue Service. Every dollar donated goes directly to the scholarship recipient. At the conclusion of the scholarship season, an email newsletter is sent to all donors with information about the scholarship recipients and their career trajectory which enables you to see exactly where your money is going.
